Betty Lou Sherman, age 93 of Gallatin went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Gallatin Center for Rehab.
She was born December 13, 1929 in Woodstock, VA.
She worked for the Sunshine Biscuit company when she was younger. She also played basketball in her younger years. She was a member of the United Church in Gallatin. She loved working in the church and had served as a Sunday School teacher at several churches over the years.
She lived most of her life in Mansfield, OH. But she moved to Tennessee in 2003.
Miss Sherman never married but loved her 36 nieces and nephews and her special friends, JoAnn Smith, Ralph Smith, III, Dan Smith and Julie Elerick.
She is preceded in death by her parents; 6 brothers, Milton, Jack, Junie Donnie, Richard & Charles Sherman; 3 sisters, Nancy Hottle, Anna Marshall & Margaret Kibler.
There are no services planned at this time, but a memorial service is being planned for a later date. This obituary will be updated when those plans are finalized.
