Jewel Brooks Kemp, age 87 of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.
Mrs. Kemp was born April 28, 1935 in Sumner County to the late Henry Odell Brooks and Lucindy Thurman Brooks.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Charles Kemp; son, Jerry Kemp; one grandson; brothers, Noel Henry Brooks and Joe Allen Brooks; and sister, Nannie Lou Huddleston.
She is survived by daughters, Brenda Manning (Billy) of Bethpage, Shelia Littleton (Edward) of Bethpage, Becki McIntosh (Ricky) of Gallatin, and Tammy Hawk (Norman) of Loudon, TN; brothers, Roger Wayne Brooks of Portland and Larry Brooks of Bethpage; sister, Jessie Woods of Portland; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be Monday, January 23rd at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Rev. Leon Graves officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, January 22nd from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Monday, January 23rd from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with Randy Kemp, Troy Kemp, Anthony Littleton, Dillon Hawk, Brian Russell, and James Manning serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Courtney Littleton and Emilee Littleton.
