Robert Richard “Dickie” Copeland, Jr. age 82 of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023.
Dickie was born February 17, 1941 in West Palm Beach, FL.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Richard Copeland, Sr. and Roberta Powers Copeland and sister, Betty Miles.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Brenda Duncan Copeland; son, Rob Copeland (Lisa); daughter, Anne Copeland; granddaughter, Brianna Hale (Matt); great-grandson, Oliver and nephew, Greg Miles (Melissa).
Dickie was a member of First Baptist Gallatin. He retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers and worked for FEMA. Dickie enjoyed gardening, golf and playing cards.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4th from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Dr. Travis Fleming and Rev. Mike Corbin officiating. Interment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
