Robert D. Yocom of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, he was 81 years old.
Robert was born in Goldsboro, NC on January 24, 1941 to the late Robert F. and Estelle D. Yocom. He was also preceded in death by his wife Rita Mercedes Wheeler Yocom.
He is survived by his daughters, Sharon (Johnny) Jones, Oklahoma City, OK, and Karen (Terry) Vanderloop, Mt. Juliet, TN; grandson, Robert Paul Bush, and his son Braxton Bush; granddaughter, Taylor (Nick) Stewart and their children Malakai and Wyatt; sister, Shirley (Richard) Lynch. He is also survived by his partner in life Jo Ann Calabro.
Robert was retired from the United States Air Force, where he served in the Office of Special Investigations, (OSI) and was retired from the United States Postal Service in Norman, OK.
Funeral service will be held at Rehoboth United Methodist Church, 2601 Cages Bend Rd., Gallatin on Wednesday, October 12 at 11 am with Rev. Sean Stanfield, officiating.
