Robert Allen Odom, age 62, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on March 24, 2024.
He was born on October 1, 1961 in Lawton, Oklahoma to the late William Edward Odom and Carol Ann Odom.
Robert is also preceded in death by his brother, William Edward “Eddie” Odom.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of over 42 years, Leslie Odom; devoted children, Rachel Ann Kremer (Gerald), Paul Robert Odom (Megan), and Amanda McQuillen Young (Thomas); grandchildren, Thomas Kremer, Jayden Odom, Kinley Odom, Adiley Odom, Ellany Odom, Sidney Odom, Briley Odom, Selah Young, and Lilah Young; siblings, Jimmy Odom (Cindy), Gale Deleon, Cindy Tennyson (Ken), Johnny Odom, and Marty Odom; and sister-in-law, Robin Odom.
Robert attended Stuttgart American High School and later pursued his educational journey at Massillon Baptist College. His passion for education led him to become a master teacher in Christian education, where he dedicated 33 years of his life shaping young minds.
Robert also worked part-time and full-time for Walmart for the past 15 years. Outside of work, he found joy in woodworking and building, traveling, and collecting pocket knives. Robert was a member of First Baptist Church of Hendersonville and was involved with the Bradley/Linn Connect Group.
Visitation will be held on April 4, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on April 5, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Hendersonville with Dr. Bruce Chesser officiating.
