Mrs. Linda Lou (Mayle) Young, age 78 of Portland, Tennessee passed away on March 31, 2022 at New Hope Senior Living in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Mrs. Young was born on May 14, 1943 in Grafton, West Virginia to the late Alfred and Opal B. Mayle.
Linda is survived by her children, Ann (Lee) Kachner, John F. Young, Jr., and Stacey (Jonathan) Bibb; grandchildren, Robert (Cory) McKinney-Potts, Ashley McKinney, Kaitlin Bibb, and Connor Bibb; great-grandchildren, Marley Mottice, Maxen Mottice, and Maddix Mottice; sister, Carol Sue Lyons.
Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, John Young; son, Jay Young, and sister, Parma Collins.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 5th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Gilbert Funeral Home with Bro. Curtis Yarisson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Whippoorwill Baptist Church Cemetery in Russellville, Kentucky. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, April 5th from 1:00 PM until time of service.
