Mrs. Cathy Sue Hammock of Westmoreland, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022, she was 66 years old.
She was born November 20, 1955 in Lafayette, TN to Wayne and Betty Jared.
Cathy had a dream of owning a restaurant. That dream became a reality and for 26 years, she has owned and operated Cathy’s Country Cupboard.
Cathy is survived by her husband of 28 years, Tony Hammock; her daughters, Jennifer (Joe) Tuttle and Stacy (Allen Stafford) Freeman; sister, Freda (KB) Bennett; her grandchildren, McKenzie (Brandon) Troutt, Hunter Freeman, Bryson Tuttle, Haiden Stafford, and Sawyer Tuttle.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne C. Jared and Betty Jewel Jared, brothers, Tony Jared and Roger Jared, and sister, Martha Jared.
The service for Mrs. Cathy Sue Hammock will be held on Wednesday, at 2:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Tracy Carter and Bro. Russell Mills officiating. Interment will follow in Eulia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, from 1:00 – 8:00 PM, and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM. Active Pallbearers will be Bryson Tuttle, Hunter Freeman, Joe Tuttle, Randy Hammock, Billy Hammock, Brandon Troutt, Allen Stafford, and Dewayne Moore.
