On Thursday, October 19th, 2023 around midnight, the Sumner County Emergency Communication Center (ECC) advised that the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department was engaged in a vehicle pursuit involving a Silver Honda Sedan.

The SCECC advised the driver, Mr. Johntrez London, had fourteen (14) active warrants including one for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

MNPD advised the vehicle was north bound on I-65 approaching Sumner County. The vehicle exited I-65 onto Highway 31W north bound and continued north on 31W through the Cities of Millersville and White House.

Upon learning this information, Deputies set up and deployed spike strips on Highway 31W, disabling the suspect vehicle.

Mr. London then fled on foot into a wood line after abandoning the vehicle.

The SCSO contacted the Sumner County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) who arrived on scene with a drone. Within approximately 12 minutes of being on scene, EMA led Deputies towards Mr. London who was taken into custody without incident.
