The 37th Annual WCTE Academic Bowl took place at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN, from November 15-16.
Three Sumner County High Schools secured places in the top 5. Gallatin High School claimed 2nd position, while Portland High School and Hendersonville High School secured the 4th and 5th spots, respectively.
Gallatin Players: Captain- Bryce Calhoun, Gareth Turner, Danny McKiness, Andrew Wright and Kameron Arnold. Coached by Brian Hoover.
Portland players: Captain-Emerson Bean, Camden Bean, Yeimi Flores, and John Watts. Coached by April Spears.
Hendersonville players: Captain- Brycen Foster, Brayden Foster, Wyatt Streger, and Taylor Gant. Coached by Shevawn Hendley
