Looking for something to do this weekend? There are plenty of events in and around Sumner County. Check out these 5 events.

1. Gallatin Square Fest

Gallatin’s Annual Square Fest is held on the last Saturday in April of each year. The event includes arts and crafts, live entertainment, a kid’s area, and food vendors from throughout the mid-south. This takes place on Saturday, April 30 from 10 AM-5 PM for free.

2. Friday Fusion Live Music Night

562 South Water Avenue, Gallatin

You can join in on an evening of live music, shopping, food, and fun at Inside Out Markets on Friday, April 29th at 6:00. Local, talented musicians will be performing during the evening from 6-9.

3. Heritage Days

Heritage Days allows guests to experience the frontier at their own pace until 1:00 pm on Friday, April 29th. The cost for children ages 3-17 is only $5 and $6 for ages 18 and up. April is also a great time to be outdoors and enjoy the park, so feel free to bring blankets and picnic on the lawn of the Bowen House or anywhere throughout Moss-Wright Park.

4. May Flowers for Mom with Sumner County

Sunday, May 1, 12pm – 2pm
Twelve Corners Nursery, 335 Nichols Ln., Gallatin

Come out to decorate a flower pot and plant a flower to give to mom. This event is for families and is set up like an open house, come and go as you wish, You may also want to bring chairs. Twelve Corners Nursery is donating flowers and soil, and light snacks will be provided by DSAMT.

This will take place on Sunday, May 1st from 12-2 PM.

5. Nightwatch at Adventure Science Center

Let us take you on a tour of the night skies. As the skies above us change with the seasons, so does the Nightwatch experience. Nightwatch is a live program where one of our awesome planetarium educators shows you how to locate and identify naked-eye constellations, bright stars, planets and any other interesting sky objects visible on the day of your visit.
