The County Sumner Irish Festival is a fantastic event held in March at Bledsoe’s Fort Historical Park in Castalian Springs, Tennessee. The park is home to an authentic Irish cottage built by Hugh Rogan in the late 1790s, as well as a historic trail that runs alongside a settler cemetery and remnants of a 19th-century spring house.

Live Irish music is sure to have you dancing and toe-tapping! Food and fun create the perfect festive celebration! The event also includes guided hikes, storytelling, craft beer from Half Batch Brewing, historic house tours, kids activities, and food vendors.
Wear your favorite Irish-themed attire to participate in the costume contest, pets included, where prizes will be given away!

Please, no outside food or drinks.

Bringing Charles Dickens’ beloved novel to life, Lionel Bart’s Oliver! takes audiences on a wild adventure through Victorian England. Join young, orphaned Oliver Twist as he navigates London’s underworld of theft and violence, searching for a home, a family, and – most importantly – for love.

This theatrical masterpiece has captivated both actors and audiences alike. HPAC is delighted to showcase this classic, stirring Charles Dickens tale. The musical boasts unforgettable Broadway tunes such as “Food, Glorious Food,” “Where Is Love?” “Consider Yourself” and others. It brings to life iconic characters like the Artful Dodger, Fagin, Bill Sykes, and Oliver.

The show is rated “PG” by the publisher, MTI. Parents should be aware that this show contains dark themes including child abuse, child trafficking, underage drinking, prostitution, and includes onstage domestic violence.

5Gallatin Shamrock Run

The 11th Annual Gallatin Shamrock Run in Historic Downtown Gallatin takes place this weekend.

The Gallatin Shamrock Run is a beloved community event that brings together runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Starting at Gallatin City Hall, the course winds through the beautiful streets of downtown Gallatin. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a first-timer, this flat course is perfect for you!

10K participants will run the 5K course twice.
5K participants will be grouped by estimated completion time.

Dress Up & Win! Get creative with your St. Patrick’s Day attire! Prizes for top finishers, best costume, and most team spirit.

Supporting a Good Cause: Proceeds benefit the Gallatin Chamber Foundation, supporting local education and enhancement initiatives.

Parking: Available along Smith Street. Avoid Main Street and other closed roads.
