3ICE – Polar Express at Opryland

Gaylord Opryland’s 40th annual A Country Christmas began on November 10, 2023 and runs through January 1, 2024. The resort’s signature attraction features a brand-new ICE! theme, The Polar Express™, based upon the beloved Warner Bros holiday film. Using more than two million pounds–or 1,000 tons–of ice, “The Polar Express” is brought to life in ice sculpture form by a team of 40 world-class ice artisans from Harbin, China.

4Paint ‘Happy Penguin’ at Painting With a Twist

This event is suitable for those age 5 and up. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Children 10 and older can be dropped off.

Snacks & Drinks (non-alcoholic) are welcomed.

Painting will begin promptly at the start time listed. You may arrive 15 minutes early to get comfortable. The entire length of the class will be needed to complete the painting. If you are more than 15 minutes late to the class you may not be allowed to paint and your payment will be forfeited.

If you’re coming with others, but making reservations separately, give us your group’s name in the Special Request box, so you can be seated together.

The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum will offer pay-what-you-want admission for Nashville area residents beginning Friday, Dec. 1, through Jan. 31, 2024. Providing an opportunity for locals to explore the museum and the history of country music, the pay-what-you-want admission will apply to those living in Davidson and its bordering counties – Cheatham, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson and Wilson.
