A Sumner County man has been sentenced to 11 months and 29 days following a two-day jury trial that ended in a conviction for driving under the influence.
Jermaine Darden was sentenced by Circuit Court Judge Jennifer Nichols to 11 months and 29 days, with the sentence suspended after he serves 30 days in the Sumner County Jail.
According to evidence presented at trial, deputies with the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office found Darden in control of a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Assistant District Attorney Bradley J. Tracy prosecuted the case.
The Sumner County District Attorney’s Office credited the Sheriff’s Office with investigating the case and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation with conducting forensic analysis.
