Sumner County Schools is pleased to announce that Chief Financial Officer, Amanda Brown, has been named the 2023-24 Supervisor of the Year!
She was surprised Wednesday afternoon by her family and Director of Schools, Dr. Scott Langford!
Brown ensures proper accounting systems are being followed to meet federal, state and local regulations. She handles everything relating to cashflow, financial planning, taxation, payroll, internal audit, benefits and insurance.
Sumner County Schools also recognized Instructional Department Head Secretary, Vincie Barber, as the 2023-24 Support Services Employee of the Year! Barber is responsible for the preparation of reports and special projects, handles correspondence files, and assists in the coordination of instructional programs.
