Mr. Wray Nicholson of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, he was 84 years old.
He was born on March 28, 1937, in Mt. Pleasant, TN.
Wray is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Janette Nicholson; son, Tony (Melissa) Nicholson; daughter, Judy (Marty) Tucker; grandchildren, Justin, Matthew, Zane, and Allie; and great-grandchildren, Thea, Aria, Oakley, and Autumn.
He was preceded in death by parents, Lutie Mai and George Taylor Nicholson; brothers, George Edward, Tommy, Joshua Brown (JB), Frank and Jim Nicholson; sisters, Mary Matthews, Nell Hayes, Dorothy (Dot) Mabry, and Sarah Nicholson.
First and foremost, Wray was a devoted Christian and family man. He cherished spending time with family and friends the most, but he also enjoyed playing golf, hunting and fishing, and attending or watching Vanderbilt and Titans games. He was a salesman for John Bouchard and Sons for nearly 50 years and had many good friends throughout Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Alabama. He will be missed greatly by those that knew and loved him.
Graveside service will be held Monday, March 14th at 3:00 pm at Crestview Memory Gardens with Larry Gilmore officiating.
