Patricia Jeanette Coker Howell, age 77, of Westmoreland, TN, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

Patricia was born July 15th, 1946 in Macon County, TN to the late Lee Delbert Coker and Dorothy Zena Henshaw.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her sister, Lallie D. Warner; her brother, Julius Lee Coker; her great-granddaughter, Maisie Jean Howell; and her step-father, Paul Cothron.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Jim Howell; her son, Kelly (Tamra) Howell; her daughter, Connie (Anthony) Blackwell; her grandchildren, Rosa Puni, Matt Howell, Chase (Kayla) Bell and Ethan (Taylor) Bell; her great-grandchildren, Gabe, Michael, Christian, James, Brooklyn, Kayton, Charli, Maggie and Jemma; her sister, Estelene Satterfield; as well as a host of nieces and nephews and loving family.

Patricia was saved by the grace of God as a young girl and joined Cedar Bluff Missionary Baptist Church. She married James “Jim” Howell on March 7, 1964 and to this union, two children were born, Kelly and Connie.

She joined Siloam Missionary Baptist Church in 1977 where she remained a faithful member. She was the janitor of Siloam Church for 16 years and loved serving the Lord and her church in this capacity. She was a licensed beautician and devoted housewife. She loved the Primitive Quartet and would travel to Hominy Valley, NC just to hear them sing their beautiful gospel songs.

Patricia enjoyed gardening, cooking, and crafts. She loved her family and church dearly, and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Howell will be conducted on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 at 11 AM from Siloam Missionary Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Siloam Cemetery. Bro. Greg Dunham, Bro. Brad Howell and Bro. Tony Allen will be officiating. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 2nd from 1 PM till 8 PM at Woodard Funeral Home, Friday, May 3rd from 9 AM till 8 PM at Woodard Funeral Home, Saturday, May 4th from 9 AM till 9:45 AM at Woodard Funeral Home and then from 10 AM till service time at 11 AM at Siloam Church.

In lieu of flowers the family request you make donations to the Siloam Cemetery fund at the office of Woodard Funeral Home.
