OBITUARY: Kimberly Middlebrook

Kimberly Middlebrook, aged 67, passed away Tuesday, April 30th at her home in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

She was born in Sharon, Connecticut on May 15th, 1956, to the late Alanson J. Sr. and Juanita V. Middlebrook.

Kim was full of life with a lot of love and compassion to share. She was always there to lend a helping hand when needed. Following school, Kim spent several years working as a dietitian but her love for animals led her down a new path.

As an avid animal lover, she fostered numerous pets over the years. This love of animals drew Kim to establish her own pet sitting service, Home Comfort Pet Sitting Service. Here she was entrusted with the love and care of numerous and varying furry charges while their human families traveled.

Kimberly was also a passionate self-trained nature photographer, utilizing the numerous parks in middle Tennessee to capture images of rare and beautiful birds. Many of these photographs later became cherished gifts to loved ones, proudly displayed in frames. Kim also drew a great deal of joy from being a grandmother.

She is survived by her brother, Lance Middlebrook (Debbie Middlebrook) of Millerton NY; daughter, Alicia Hope Middlebrook (David Clark) of Castalian Springs, Tennessee; granddaughter Sophia Ellise Clark of Castalian Springs, Tennessee; and nephews Lucas Middlebrook of Pawling, NY; Sam Middlebrook of Southington, CT; and niece, Casey McCabe of Millerton, NY.

Arrangements Entrusted to: Sumner Funeral & Cremation, Gallatin (615) 452-9059
