William E. “Bill” Anderson, age 79, of Hendersonville, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his wife Dianne, and parents, Earl and Dorothy (Groom) Anderson.
Survived by his children; William T. Anderson (Tonya), Michele Allen (Michael), Missy Goodman (Jerry) and Rick Reese, grandchildren; Tamra Leach (Joey), Matthew Allen (Caroline), Kelsie Anderson, Taylor DeWeese, Corey Allen and Katelyn Johnson (Jeffery), great-grandchildren; Isabel Johnson, Carli Leach, Mason Allen and Ethan Allen, sisters, Patsy Ezell (Marc) and Elaine Jones (Ricky), along with 2 nephews and a niece.
Bill was born on October 16, 1942, in Parsons, TN. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a fan of the University of Tennessee and attended many games. Bill worked 41 years for Nixon Power Services. He loved photography, barbecuing, and spending time with his family, and church family at Hendersonville Cornerstone Church. He especially adored his great-grandchildren. Bill was mechanically inclined and could fix anything. He was a good family man and friend who would be by your side and there to help when in need.
A Celebration of Life service for Bill will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 East Main Street, on Saturday, November 13th at 12:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Dan Lewiston. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 12th from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, and again on Saturday, one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens with Military Honors.
