William “Bill” Martin, age 79 of Hendersonville, passed away on February 5, 2022.
Bill was born on April 14, 1942 in Texas to the late Fred and Thay Martin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle “Myssie” Stahl, and his brother, Thayer Martin.
Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda McBee Martin; sons, William J. Martin, II (Angie), Jeff Martin, and Lee Joines (Nina); grandchildren, Aaron Saldana (Josie), Branon Saldana (Teresa), Matthew Martin, Taylor Martin, Hayle Stahl, Brittany Joines, and Emily Martin; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Berna Lou Wicks (Tim); and several nieces and nephews.
Bill loved his family, he was a beloved husband and a devoted father; he enjoyed cooking out with family and friends; and riding motorcycles with his wife.
A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside with Dr. David Malheiro officiating.
