Mr. Vernon “Big V” Edward Hall, age 60 of Portland, Tennessee passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 at TriStar Portland ER in Portland, Tennessee.
Vernon was born in Lafayette, Indiana on Tuesday, May 22, 1962 to Norman Edward and Doris June Hall.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Edward and Doris June Hall; sister, Norma Jean Hollen.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Becky Hall; sons, Joshua (Laura) Hall and Chris (Megan) Hall; grandchildren, Landon Bromwell, Sydney Bromwell, Emma Hall, Reece Hall, Kinley Hall, Ava Hall, and Myles Hall; sisters, Billie Santillana, Donna (Tom) Szymanski, and Sandy (Boo) Barnes; sisters-in-law, Sheila Crook and Kay (Wayne) Groves; brother-in-law, Rick Cannon; fur babies, Dutch, Shiloh, Piper, and Max; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 31st at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland. Interment will follow the service at Restlawn Memory Gardens with Joshua Hall, Chris Hall, Boo Barnes, Landon Bromwell, Stevie Bowers, and Joey Catron serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, March 30th from 4:00-8:00 PM and Friday, March 31st from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
