Ms. Teresa Karen Simons, age 63, of Westmoreland, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
She was born May 26, 1960 to the late Hugh Edward “H.E.” Woodard and Nellie Ogeal Smallwood in Scottsville, KY.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin “Chubby” Simons; and siblings, Ricky Woodard, Buddy Woodard and Doris Smith.
She is survived by her children, Keshia Troutt, CJ (Robin) Simons, Dana (Marie) Simons and Chad (Shana) Simons; her adored grandchildren, Amber (John) Sexton, Steven (Macy) Sexton, Trina Sexton, Jessica Scott, Heather (Dylan) Driver, Josh Simons, Naveah Troutt, Avery Simons, Addy Simons, Auburn Simons and Keagan Simons; her siblings, Joyce Smith, Linda Collins, Janice Stinson and Larry Woodard; her 10 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Karen was a medical assistant for the Hope Clinic.
Funeral services for Ms. Simons will be conducted on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 at 11 AM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 1 PM till 8 PM, Friday from 10 AM till 8 PM and again on Saturday from 9 AM till service time at 11 AM at Woodard Funeral Home.
