Sue Clariday, age 93 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
Funeral Service will be Sunday, January 23rd at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, January 22nd from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 23rd from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Dixon Springs Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Mrs. Clariday was born July 28, 1928 in Dixon Springs, TN to the late Jim Phillips and Ella Chambers Phillips.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, James Clariday; son, Robert Jeffrey Clariday; grandchild, Kristin Arterburn; brothers, Isham Phillips, Bob Phillips, Sherman Phillips, Bud Phillips, John Phillips, and Tom Phillips; and sisters, Irene Phillips, Annie Lee Taylor, Elberta Dawson, Betty West, and Mary Dias.
She is survived by daughters, Cynthia Hill (Ted) of Gallatin and Luanne Kerley (David) of Portland; son, James A. Clariday, Jr. of Gallatin; grandchildren, Ashley Hansen (Paul), Tiffany Strong, Amber Williams, and Heather Hadley; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Clariday was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church.
