Shawn Kevin Doak, age 62, of Portland, Tennessee, passed away on June 2, 2022, in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Shawn was born on June 5, 1959 in Glen Dale, West Virginia to the late Ronald Doak and Dixie Hendricks Doak.
Shawn is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sherry Doak; daughter Amy Coleman, Fiance Jerry Jacobs; grandchildren, Daiden Coleman, Scarlett Cole, Isaac Coleman, and Madalyn Jacobs who will be joining us in the next few months; sisters, Melody Bowman and Shannon Otto; brother, Barry Doak; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Shawn is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William Hendricks and Evelyn Myer Hendericks.
Shawn was a diehard Chicago Cubs and Bears fan; he also loved the West Virginia Mountaineers. He loved to play the guitar.
A Celebration of Life honoring Shawn will be held at a later date. Details to follow.
