Mrs. Selma Tuck, age 92, of Hendersonville passed away on January 13, 2024.
Selma was born on November 1, 1931 in Lafayette to the late Hopson and Hortence White.
Selma enjoyed walking and watching TV. She loved kids and taking care of them. The kids loved her as well and gave her the name “Sissy.”
She attended Victory Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Selma is preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Bingham, Ruby Meadows, and Peggy Hauskins; and her brother, Herman Douglas White.
Selma is survived by her loving husband of 75 years, Charles Tuck; her three nieces, Joyce Ann Vincent, Tammy Crook, Wynemia Cook; friends, Herman and Mary Keith, Lisa and Chuck Porter, Vickie and Carlton Fredebeils, and David and Sherri Hoy; along with a host of other people who loved her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 9:00 – 11:00 am at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. https://www.hendersonvillefh.com
The family would like to give a special thanks to Piper from High Point Hospice and Betty for all the wonderful care they gave Selma.
