Ryan Michael Patterson, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away in Hendersonville, Tennessee on March 30, 2024 at the age of 43.

Born in Nashville to Kevin and Michelle Patterson on August 12, 1980, Ryan’s radiant spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.

Ryan’s journey through life was marked by his quick wit and sharp mind. His education journey took him through Beech High School and Western Kentucky University, where he excelled both academically and as a member of the wrestling team. Ryan’s creativity wasn’t limited to the classroom; he had a knack for crafting words with mischievous charm that never failed to bring laughter.

Beyond academics and humor, Ryan found solace in the outdoors. Gardening was not simply a hobby for him but a passion that allowed him to connect with nature. His artistic abilities extended even to building a fence from fallen tree limbs—an embodiment of his resourcefulness and creativity.

In the hearts of those who survive him, Ryan leaves a void that can never be filled. His parents, Kevin and Michelle Patterson; siblings, Colin, Ian and Jennifer Patterson; nephew, Emoran Patterson; niece, Lynley-Ann Patterson; great-nieces Katalina and Kamilia; great-nephews Eli and Nathaniel mourn his loss deeply. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ann Mildred Patterson, William “Spud” Smith and Lottie Smith; and his aunts, Bridget Patterson, Rhonda Smith and Kathy Smith.

Amongst his surviving family and friends are uncles Jamie Smith, Lynn Smith, and Charles Patterson (Becky), and numerous cousins whose lives were enriched by Ryan’s presence. Together they will cherish memories of his vibrant personality and unwavering camaraderie.

Ryan Michael Patterson’s departure from this world leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love for nature, and an unmatched gift for storytelling. May his spirit find eternal peace knowing he was cherished by so many.
