Robert Lee Smith, age 84, of Portland, passed away on Thursday, July 20th, 2023 at Sumner Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Smith was born in Big Sandy, TN on June 18th, 1939 to the late Noah Brown Smith & the late Clara Mae Christopher Smith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Edith Roberts Smith; great-grandson, Weston James Moulton; brother, Norman Brown Smith.
Mr. Smith is survived by his daughters, Norma (David) Shrum of Portland, Patricia Ann Stagner of Franklin, KY, & Deborah (Steve) Bradley of Portland; son, Joseph (Jamie) Smith of Palm Coast, FL; grandchildren, Christina Hardin, Daniel (Erica) Stagner, Jessica (Mike) Ansardi, Heather Cron Arguello, Lindsey (Clint) Rider, Justin (Summer) Bradley, Tristan Smith, Alexa Smith, Katherine (Juan) Alvarez, & Daryl Shrum; 18 great-grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; nephews, Ricky Dean (Debbie) Smith & Norman Christopher (Connie) Smith.
Funeral service for Mr. Smith will be at 3:00 pm on Monday, July 24th, 2023 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Brown officiating.
Visitation for Mr. Smith was on Sunday, July 23rd, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Monday, July 24th, 2023 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home. There will be a Masonic Service starting during the visitation from 7:00 until 8:00 pm on Sunday, July 23rd, 2023 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home. https://www.wilkinsonwiseman.com
Interment will be in Old Brush Cemetery with Military Honors.
Daniel Stagner, Justin Bradley, Tommy Cox, Tristan Smith, Brenden Mayo, Steve Bradley, & David Shrum will serve as pallbearers.
Chase McCloud & Jimmy Parker will serve as honorary pallbearers.
