Lauren Faye Hargrove

Lauren Faye Hargrove, age 27 of Hendersonville, went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

Lauren was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Jerry and Faye Hargrove; maternal grandfather, Paul Keller.

She is survived by her parents, Kirk and Brenda Hargrove; brother, Kyle (Nikki) Hargrove; Mawmaw, Linda Keller; devoted boyfriend, Payton Grant; niece, Abby Hargrove; nephew, Will Hargrove; two fur babies, her cats, Gizmo and Billie Jean; uncles, David (Krisha) Hargrove, Tony (Jackie) Keller and Joe (Christina) Keller; aunt, Alisa (Alan) Honeycutt; cousins, Madeline, Samuel, Mason, Harper, Jacob (Mary Clair), Zachary (Michelle), Nick, Emma, and Suheb; many other extended family and special friends also survive.

Lauren was a Hendersonville native and graduated from Hendersonville High School in 2013. She was a member of the Band of Gold. She attended MTSU and was a member of the Band of Blue. She was very artistic and Blessed everyone with her paintings, jewelry, ornaments, and more. She was always creating something and it usually had a spiritual meaning.

Lauren loved going to the beach and would always take the opportunity to enjoy a sunset. She loved attending Life Church, helping with the Switch Youth, and creating artistic scenes for “At the Movies.” She loved her family, her niece, nephew, and all of her friends. She never met a stranger. She would meet someone for a short time and impact their life forever. This happened once again in her last days.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, January 24th at 1:30 pm from the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville with Pastors Joshua Strader, Zack Verbraken, and Monica German officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens with Bryan Sanders, Drew Martin, Alex Dunlap, Zachary Keller, Jacob Keller, and Samuel Hargrove serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, January 23rd from 2-8 pm and Monday, January 24th from 11:00 am until time of service.

The family would like to give a special thanks to physicians and staff at Sarah Cannon DDU and Ascension St. Thomas Midtown’s ER, 5th floor oncology, 6th floor, ICU, and Chaplains who were so caring and wonderful to Lauren and our family.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations to be made in Lauren’s name to Quantina M. Wolaver-Foundation of Hope or Sarah Cannon Cancer Research.
