Judith Ann Culpepper

Judith Ann Clark was born March 27th, 1938, in Alton, Illinois, to Chester Thomas Clark and Alvina Lily (Veeck) Clark. When she was two years old, her parents moved to Worthington, Ohio, and later to Hinsdale, Illinois, and Crossville, Tennessee, before settling at Collegedale, Tennessee, where Judy graduated from high school in 1956.

Judy married the love of her life, James Clarke Culpepper on June 19th, 1960, at the home of her parents in Collegedale. After Jim graduated from Southern Missionary College in 1962, she moved with him to Denver, Colorado and they began their life work together. While in Denver, they made many lifelong friends and enjoyed vacationing together in the Rocky Mountains with them. In 1974, they moved the family to Ardmore, Oklahoma, and then in 1976 to Avon Park, Florida. 1978 found them moving to Moberly, Missouri, where Jim was tasked with building and running a new hospital.

Judy and Jim moved again to Boulder, Colorado in 1987 and then back home to Tennessee, where they finished up their professional lives and retired to the big city of White House, where Judy lived until her death. Judy loved Jesus with all her heart and is now asleep in Him awaiting His return.

Judy is survived by her husband, Jim; her daughter, Lori Beth Ballew (Tom); and their two daughters, Adrienne and Chrystal as well as great-grandchildren, Collin and Elly. She is also survived by son, James Gregory Culpepper (Gayle); and their two daughters, Bailey and Taylor. Her older brother, William Mackel, preceded her in death.
