Jerry Wayne Russell, age 73 of Gallatin, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024.
Mr. Russell was born October 6, 1950 in Madison, TN to the late Odie Russell and Laurine Wilburn Russell.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Jeffrey Russell.
He is survived by wife of 32 years, Cristal Diane Thompson Russell of Gallatin; sons, Jonathon Wesley Young (Shawna) of Bethpage and Jeremy Weston Russell (Elizabeth) of Portland; sister, Jane Christian (Mike) of Castalian Springs; grandchildren, Madison “Maddie” Young, Benjamin “Bo” Young, and Samuel “Sam” Young.
Mr. Russell retired as an engineer for Electrolux after 42 years of service.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 6th at 2:00 p.m. at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin. Visitation will be Monday, February 5th from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, February 6th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Wendall McCarter, Jeremy Arnold, Mark Fraundienst, Shane Patrick, Jimmy Mahaffey, Chris Tuttle, Allen Woodard, and John Mark Rickman serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice to honor Jerry Russell.
