Alice Marie Roberson, 82, of Gallatin, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Born on August 31, 1942, she was the daughter of the late William Calvin Roberson and Etta Marie Kemp Roberson.
Alice was a graduate of both Gallatin High School (1960) and University of Tennessee, Nashville (1972), spending the majority of her career as a kindergarten teacher at Vena Stuart Elementary School. Through her life, Alice attended First Baptist Church, Gallatin and later, Old Union Church of Christ, Castalian Springs.
In her retirement, she enjoyed being a part of the Cairo Community Club and tending to flowers in her yard. Alice is survived by her brother, Alfred Thomas Roberson (Nancy) of Montgomery, AL, and sister, Kay Roberson Haile (Ferrell) of Gallatin as well as nieces and nephews: Katherine (Katie) Haile Chandler (Tim) of Knoxville, TN, James Roberson (JB) Haile (Shawn) of Nashville, TN, Thomas Andrew Roberson (Nicki) of Birmingham, AL, Daniel Ferrell Haile (Mallory) of Columbia, TN, and Melody Haile Harvey (Wesley) of Nashville, TN. She also leaves behind nine great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 584 Nashville Pike in Gallatin. A graveside service will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens at 2:00 pm officiated by brother-in-law, Senator Ferrell Haile.
