Mr. Stanley Alan Holder, age 73 of Hartsville, TN passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 19, 2025 at his home. He was born July 28, 1951 to the late Ras Henry Holder and Charla Neal Merryman Holder.
Stanley was a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church and a 1969 graduate of Trousdale County High School. He furthered his education at Middle Tennessee State University with a BS in Accounting. Although he always said he would never sit behind a desk he used his accounting skills daily in his farming business. He was a third-generation farmer raising cattle and tobacco since he was 9 years old. He always said the happiest place to be was in a hay field or on a tractor tilling ground. His work ethic was second to none. Stanley began working in the tobacco warehouse business in 1974 and in 1986 became sole owner and operator of Holder’s Tobacco Warehouse which is still in operation today. This fall was the first time he had missed the opening day of the tobacco market in 51 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Brother, Phillip Holder. He is survived by his Wife of 53 years, Vicki Holder: 2 Sons, Jason (Katie) Holder and Blake (Danielle) Holder- all of Hartsville, TN; 6 Grandchildren that he adored, Campbell, Grayson, Collins, Emma Grace, Mollie and Henry Holder. His dedication to his family, agricultural community, friends and customers will always be cherished and remembered.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 1 PM Saturday, March 22, 2025 conducted by Bro. Jack McCall and Bro. Matt Edwards. Interment will be in the Hartsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 3 to 8 PM Friday and 10 AM until service time Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Trousdale County Livestock Association, 214 Broadway, Hartsville, TN 37074.
