Jeffrey “Jeff” L. Howden, age 48, of Hendersonville, passed away on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021.

Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bob and Elma Proctor, and his maternal grandfather, Donald E. Talbert.

Jeff is survived by his father, Gary Howden (Donna), mother, Sharon Howden, Amy Howden, and children, Brice, Olivia, and Mia Howden, grandmother, Mary Frances Talbert along with 2 uncles, 2 aunts, and many extended family and friends. Jeff is also survived by his Goldendoodle, “Milo”.

Jeff was born on January 26, 1973, in Nashville, TN. He graduated from Stratford High School and attended Cumberland University and Volunteer State before joining the United States Army. He was deployed to Germany for 7 months in support of Operation Joint Endeavor. Jeff played football in college, enjoyed baseball, and was a Notre Dame fan. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Hendersonville and loved being on the water, especially the ocean. Jeff enjoyed getting together with family for the holidays, especially Thanksgiving dinner at his aunt’s house. He always had a smile and never met a stranger. Jeff loved his kids and spending time with them. He will be dearly missed by his family and by everyone who knew him.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 East Main Street in Hendersonville, on Monday, November 22nd, 2021, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, with a time of remembrance at 7:00 PM.
