Jeanette Roberts, 84 of Portland, TN., passed away on July 23, 2023 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tennessee.
She was born April 10, 1939 to the late Clarence Wesley Callis and Evelyn Fay Hebert.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Roberts; children, David Link, Debbie Gregory and Leroy Link; siblings, Roy Callis, Clarence Callis, Jr., Edward Callis, Louis Callis and Myrtle Ann Martin.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by her daughter, Carol Hanley(Steve); son, Michael Roberts; grandchildren, Brandon Hanley, Brittany Hanley, Jennifer Toney(Theo), Dewayne Gregory, Troy Link, Dougan Stradtner, Calvin Stradtner; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral service for Mrs. Roberts will be on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Wilkinson Wiseman Funeral Home with Matt Miller officiating; with visitation on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. https://www.wilkinsonwiseman.com
Following the funeral service, interment will be in Mitchellville General Baptist Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Hanley, Dewayne Gregory, Dougan Stradtner, Theo Toney, Lucas Toney and David Michelson, with Hunter Hanley, Graylon Gregory and Elan Toney serving as honorary pallbearers.
