Ms. Irma Lou Russell, age 90 of Portland, TN passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at her residence. Irma was born on February 20, 1936 in Sumner County, Tennessee.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Lula Sullivan; son, Kenny Morris; daughter, Kim Whitefield; brothers, Paul Sullivan, Jimmy Sullivan and Billy Hall; sister, Shirley Coop.
Irma is survived by her son, Gary (Rita) Morris; grandchildren, Spencer (Morghan) Morris, Ashley Whitefield and Haley (Justin) Marlett; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Parker.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 13th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Spencer Morris officiating. Interment will follow the service at Old Brush Cemetery with Gary Morris, Spencer Morris, Justin Marlett and Terry George serving as pallbearers. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 12th from 4:00-8:00 PM and Thursday, August 13th from 10:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM.
