Mr. Harry “Randall” Gregory, Sr. passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022, he was 82 years old. He was the son of the late Virginia and A.B. Gregory.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jill Gregory Jarrett, his Mother Virginia Bradford Gregory, and father A.B. Gregory.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Karey Willis Gregory; daughters Tracey Gregory Howard, Kelli (Mike) Johnson, and son Randy (Mindi) Gregory; grandchildren, Casey Howard, Austin Howard, Dustin (Bianca) Johnson, Kaylan Johnson, Joslyn Jarrett, Gage Gregory, Grace Gregory, Jaclyn Jarrett, Jeryn Jarrett; great-grandchild, Michael R Johnson; sister Prudy Breedlove and brother Aubrey Gregory.

Randall was born on January 12, 1940. Randall was a star athlete in baseball, basketball, and football at Cumberland High School. He attended Tennessee Tech and David Lipscomb Universities and in July 1960, married Karey Willis. They had four children from 1961 to 1969. Randall was employed at Nashville Electric Service from 1960 to 1994. He enjoyed being involved in every aspect of his children, grandchildren and great-grand child’s lives never missing an opportunity to attend sporting or school events. Everyone called him “Papa”.

His passion was building and creating things with his hands, collecting tools, sharing his yard with wildlife (especially the deer) and working in his yard. Randall had a green thumb and could grow anything. Randall was strong in his faith and was an active member of Hendersonville Church of Christ and prior to moving to Hendersonville, Riverwood Church of Christ where he was a deacon.

Randall never met a stranger; he was always kind and joking with those in his path.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Whispering Pine Church Camp (Hendersonville Church of Christ).

Funeral Service will be held at Hendersonville Church of Christ.
Visitation: 10am to 12pm.
Service: 12 pm.
Burial at Hendersonville Memorial Garden at 1 pm.
