Charles Ernest Adkins, age 58 of Cottontown, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Hendersonville Medical Center.
He was born April 25, 1966 in Lorain, Ohio to William Thomas and Margaret and Thomas Adkins.
He worked as a cook for McDonald’s. He enjoyed reading and watching Star Trek. He had an incredible memory for history. He had attended Cherry Mound Baptist Church and had proudly served his country in the US Army during Grenada.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brothers, Chris Adkins, Cottontown, TN and Billy (Tamma) Adkins, Lancaster, KY; numerous nieces and nephews.
There are no services or visitation planned. It was his wishes to be cremated and his ashes interred in the Belcher Family Cemetery in Elkhorn City, KY.
