Geraldine F. Groves, age 92, of Portland, passed away on August 25, 2021 at her residence in Portland.
She was born in Portland, TN on September 11th, 1928 to the late Charlie Freeman & Hazel Hunter Freeman.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Groves was preceded in death by her husband, Jearl Groves; son, Larry Groves; brother, James Freeman; & sister, Dorothy Perdue.
Mrs. Groves is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Micheal) Richards; daughter-in-law, Sherry Groves; grandchildren, Tracy Bettis, Michael (Beth) Eisenbraun, Ryan (Mandy) Groves, Shawn Richards, Tia Owen, & Lindsey (Andrew) Roberts; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Maxine Searcy & Cora Mee; longtime friend, Charles Wayne Stephens.
There will be a graveside service for Mrs. Groves at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Franklin, KY with Bro. Mike Potts officiating.
Visitation for Mrs. Groves will be on Friday, August 27th, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home.
Ryan Groves, Michael Eisenbraun, Shawn Richards, Andrew Roberts, Tate Groves, Andrew Owen & Connor Richards will serve as pallbearers.
