A new traffic signal is being installed at the intersection of Main Street and Maple Row in Hendersonville to help improve traffic flow around new businesses in the area.
City officials said the signal will operate in a flashing mode during its first week. Drivers will see flashing red and flashing yellow lights as the system is introduced.
Officials remind drivers that a flashing red light should be treated like a stop sign, while a flashing yellow light means drivers should proceed with caution.
