Mrs. Dawn C. Goodwin, age 76, of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023.
She was born on October 21, 1946, to the late Lamar and Beverly Cannon.
Dawn grew up with a strong foundation of faith. She went to college at Memphis State where she met the love of her life at the Wesley Foundation; Richard Goodwin, and they were happily married for 50 years. She was a devoted caregiver to her husband, daughters, grandchildren, and the many children she cared for as a daycare director, Girl Scout leader, and Band mom.
Dawn is survived by her daughters, Kimberly (Andrew) Carter and Amy (Michael) Reed; grandchildren, Laree, Andrew Jr., Morgan, and Mason; sisters, Sherry Shearer and Pamela Huffty and aunt, Sandra Hicks.
A life celebration will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, February 11th at Crestview Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 4-7 pm on Friday, February 10th and again from 12:30-2 pm prior to the service on Saturday, February 11th.
