Mr. David Leon Taylor age 85, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away February 4, 2022
Mr. Taylor was born in Morgantown, KY on December 7th, 1936, the son of the late B.D. “Bubby” and Richadena Taylor.
He was a loving husband, father, Papaw, and friend. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of Western Kentucky University. He was a volunteer fireman in many of the communities that he lived. He retired after a long career in the manufacturing industry. He worked hard to provide a happy, comfortable life for his wife and daughters. He was a voracious reader. He enjoyed photography, growing beautiful roses, exercise classes with the Silver Sneakers class at the YMCA, and crossword puzzles. He was a member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his wife and partner of 63 years, Faye Elizabeth Taylor.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Gina (Gary) Kirkpatrick, Lisa (Guy) Desroches, 3 grandchildren,
Amy Mace (Tony Read), Jason Travis (Jenny) Mace, and Clint Desroches
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 12th. Visitation begins at 1:00 pm, Service begins at 2:00 pm, Hendersonville Memorial Gardens Chapel.
