Mike Rambo, age 73 of Gallatin, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at the University of Louisville Hospital after a brief illness.
A native of Jefferson County, Kentucky, he was born to the late Hubert and Odessa (Miller) Rambo. He graduated high school from Eastern High School in Middletown Kentucky and then graduated from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and he loved living on the lake where he frequently enjoyed boating and jet skiing. His passion was basketball, and he enjoyed following his favorite team the University of Kentucky. Mike was one of the nicest gentlemen you could have ever met with a great sense of humor and was entirely devoted to his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Janet Rambo; children, Michael Rambo, Stacy Rambo Groves, and Kristen Rambo; grandchildren, Allison Bledsoe, Taylor Rambo, Nathan Linthicum; brother, Charles Rambo.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
