Hendersonville Police Arrest Two After High-Speed Chase

On September 3 2022, at approximately 2:07 am, the Gallatin Police Department notified Hendersonville Police that a vehicle had just fled from one of their Officers during a traffic stop.

Moments later Hendersonville Police Officers located the vehicle as it entered the city limits and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle fled from HPD Officers at speeds over 100 mph. HPD Officers were able to deploy spike strips, which deflated the vehicle tires and successfully brought the chase to an end without incident.

During a search of the vehicle, police recovered a loaded “AR” style pistol. Police also recovered a handgun that had been thrown from the vehicle during the chase.

The driver, twenty-year-old LaCharlesdreck McWilliams of Nashville, and the passenger, nineteen-year-old Lacharlericus McWilliams of Nashville were both arrested at the scene. LaCharlesdreck McWilliams is charged with Evading by Motor Vehicle and Tampering with Evidence. Lacharlericus is charged with Tampering with Evidence. Both are scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on October 5, 2022, at 9 am.
