Meet Your Tour Guide:
Leading the tours is Allen Sircy, an esteemed author and historian specializing in American history. With a deep-rooted connection to Middle Tennessee’s heritage and folklore, Sircy has authored over twenty books, including the acclaimed “Southern Ghost Stories: Ghosts of Gallatin 1 & 2.” His intimate knowledge of Gallatin’s history and paranormal lore makes him a leading authority on ghostly phenomena in the region.

“I’m so excited about the new tours,” said Sircy. “The Ghosts of Gallatin Haunted Tour has been immensely popular since I started it in 2019. At its core, it’s really a history tour with ghost stories sprinkled in. With the new tours I intend to concentrate on the amazing history of Gallatin and focus on some colorful characters that helped shape not only the area, but the entire country. Everyone knows how influential Andrew Jackson was, but a local woman named Eliza Allen was indirectly one of the main reasons Texas became a state. From the Civil War to the five United States presidents who visited the old courthouse, I can’t wait to share all the stories that make Gallatin such a special place.”
