February 26, 2024 – At approximately 10:42am on February 26, 2024, Gallatin Police officers responded to a report of a bank robbery at Regions Bank located at 285 E. Main St.
Through effective communication and rapid dissemination of information, the suspect, identified as 55-year-old Thomas Klein of Gallatin, was quickly located and apprehend by Gallatin Police Officers.
“The quick thinking and decisive actions of our officers led to the speedy apprehension of this suspect,” said Chief of Police, Don Bandy. “Their dedication to serving and protecting our community is truly commendable.”
Thomas Klein is currently in custody and being held in the Sumner County Jail for Aggravated Robbery and Theft Under $1,000.00. This investigation is ongoing.
