Gallatin Police Department Apprehends Vehicle Theft Ring Suspects

February 26, 2024 – The Gallatin Police Department has successfully apprehended suspects involved in a series of vehicle thefts plaguing the community. The coordinated efforts of law enforcement officers led to the arrest of Antoine Betts, Kaveon Anderson and a 15-year-old Juvenile male, who are now facing charges related to the theft of multiple vehicles.

The investigation began and concluded on December 24th, 2023, when Gallatin Police Officers responded to multiple reports of stolen vehicles. A collaborative, diligent and steadfast effort involving multiple divisions of the Gallatin Police Department, lead to the identification and subsequent arrest of the suspects, on the same day that the crimes were committed.

The suspects, implicated in the thefts of several vehicles, were also charged with vandalism for breaking windows during the commission of these crimes. The charges underscore the serious nature of their actions and the impact on the community.

“We are committed to ensuring the safety and security of our residents,” stated Don Bandy, Chief of Police for the Gallatin Police Department. “The successful resolution of this case is a testament to the dedication of our officers.”

Antoine Betts, Kaveon Anderson, and a 15-year-old, male juvenile all confessed to their involvement, providing crucial information that lead to the recovery of the stolen vehicles. The swift actions of law enforcement prevented further criminal activity and ensured the apprehension of those responsible.
