Young business owners will have the chance to showcase and sell their products when the Children’s Entrepreneur Market comes to Hendersonville next month.
The market will be held Saturday, Aug. 1, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Streets of Indian Lake, 300 Indian Lake Blvd., alongside the Hendersonville Farmers & Artisan Market.
The nationwide nonprofit program gives children ages 5 to 17 the opportunity to launch their own businesses in a low-risk setting. Young entrepreneurs will sell a variety of products, including baked goods, crafts, crocheted items, lemonade, 3D-printed creations and more.
Community members are invited to shop the market and support the young entrepreneurs as they gain hands-on experience in business, financial responsibility and customer service.
The Children’s Entrepreneur Market has six events planned across the Nashville area through November. Parents interested in registering a child for a future market can do so here.
