A black bear was found dead Monday morning near Exit 14 on Vietnam Veterans Boulevard in Gallatin, according to WKRN.
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency believes the bear was likely struck and killed by a vehicle.
Authorities have not confirmed whether it is the same bear that was recently spotted in Bethpage on May 26—a sighting officials said was the first in the area in over ten years.
No further details have been released.
