December 4, 2023 – Hendersonville Police Department received an alert on department license plate readers for a wanted suspect with felony warrants.
The Hendersonville Police Department attempted to stop the suspect, but the driver refused to stop. A pursuit was initiated on SR-386/Vietnam Veterans Blvd., and spike strips were deployed twice in an attempt to disable the vehicle.
The pursuit continued at speeds between 10-30 miles per hour. The vehicle exited Vietnam Veterans Blvd and traveled through Goodlettsville to Dickerson Road. The wanted person, Melissa Leann White, 8/8/1982, pulled over and surrendered to police without incident at Dickerson Road near Old Hickory Blvd.
