1Hendersonville Pig Fest

Veterans Park
140 Scotch Street, Hendersonville

The Fourth Annual Hendersonville Pig Festival will take place on October 27 and 28 at Veterans Park. On Friday night, Hometown Jam will open the event with a concert featuring the Grammy Award Winning Kentucky Headhunters, and on Saturday there will be food trucks, vendor booths, a Kidz Zone, pig races and much more. This year the event will be supporting Mary’s Magical Place, LiveLoveNashville, Grace Place and Christmas4Kids.

Tickets to the concert on Friday night can be purchased here. General Admission will be $10 per person with kids under 12 being free, and they do not need a ticket. Those purchasing a VIP Ticket for $100 will receive one concert ticket, access to the VIP tent area with food catered by The Cajun Steamer, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and two drink tickets, a Pig Fest Hat, and a Pig Fest T-shirt. There are only 100 VIP tickets.

2GOODFest & Fall Market

The GOODFest and Fall Market is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2023 between the hours of 11:00am – 3:00pm.

The event is a free outdoor event held at Moss-Wright Park, 745 Caldwell Drive, Goodlettsville and is fun for all ages. The event joins several of the Goodlettsville Farmer’s Market vendors with additional local artisans and sponsor vendors. A food vendor area is provided along with a children’s area of free activities. The Goodlettsville Visitor’s Center and Gift Shop is open during the duration of the event.

This event takes place on the same day as Halloween in the Park. An estimated 9,000 guests attended Moss-Wright Park in 2022 for the combined events.

Parking for the event is at the Visitor’s Center, 705 Caldwell Drive with overflow parking within Moss-Wright Park, 745 Caldwell Drive.

3Halloween in the Park

Halloween in the Park is a family-friendly event full of activities for kids and kids at heart. The event consists of a DJ, dancing, a pumpkin patch, crafts, games, inflatables, photo booths, and treats from local businesses and organizations. Kids may wish to bring their trick-or-treating bags to collect treats!

Carnival type food will be available for purchase including hotdogs, popcorn, shaved ice, pretzels, lemonade, and more! This event is centered around the playground and Shelter 3 of the park. For parking for this event, you may wish to enter the main entrance of Moss-Wright at 745 Caldwell Drive, Goodlettsville, TN.

Halloween in the Park takes place at the same time as the GOODfest & Fall Market. Goodlettsville Parks and Recreation and Visit Goodlettsville, the Goodlettsville Tourism Department, have partnered together to host two special events on the same day in the City of Goodlettsville. Halloween in the Park and GOODFest and Fall Market join together for one huge day of fun for the whole family

4The Addams Family (A New Musical)

In “The Addams Family”, America’s darkest family comes to life in this original musical about love, family, honesty and growing up.

“The Addams Family” is presented by Hendersonville Performing Arts Company (HPAC) from October 19 through October 29. HPAC is a 501(c)3 organization and runs on donations from patrons like you. Whether you donate one time or become a recurring donor, we appreciate each and every donation we receive. We believe in the importance bring the arts to our community, and we can only do that with your support.

5Cemetery Tour at Historic Cragfont

Cragfont is hosting a walk-through of this historic cemetery. Learn about the people buried here and the significance of tombstone shapes and epitaphs.

You’ll learn about some of the more tragic and untimely deaths of the Winchesters and Wynnes and some secret history of the Cragfont cemetery.
