1Mean Girls – High School Version

Join us at the theater as HPAC’s High School Youth Enrichment Program presents Mean Girls – April 12-14th. All tickets are $15.

Mean Girls tells the story of Cady Heron, who starts high school at 16, after being homeschooled in Africa for the first 15 years of her life. Cady quickly crosses paths with “The Plastics” a group of popular girls who rule the school through intimidation, back-stabbing and bullying. Originally joining their clique as a joke, Cady finds herself sucked into their world and discovers the dark side of high school friendships.

3Stained Glass Workshops – Mushrooms

Stained Glass adds a pop of color to any room in the house! In this class, you’ll practice the Tiffany Style copper foil method, soldering, and finishing options. You’ll choose glass from a variety of shapes, colors, and textures to make your own mushrooms. You’ll have some adornment options too!

This workshop is for adults at any skill level, but you must pre-register.

Tom Jones Broom Shop is open Saturdays at Sadie Ford Heritage Farm and Art Center 10am to 4pm!

Come see real old-timey broom making on period equipment, ask about taking a class, buy one (or two!) to take home, visit the farm and the park while you’re here, and get out for some fresh country air!

Sadie Ford Farm is located on Hwy 231 / 5220 Murfreesboro Rd., Lebanon, Tennessee 37090. The entrance to the farm is just south of the entrance to Cedars of Lebanon State Park. Sadie Ford Heritage Farm and Art Center is part of Cedars of Lebanon State Park.

5K-9 Klassic Benefitting Humane Society of Sumner County

The Schell Brothers, WHIN K-9 Klassic is a 5K / 1 Mile fun run/ walk supporting The Humane Society of Sumner County takes place this weekend. Registration and Packet pick up 7 AM. Run begins at 8 AM on the Hendersonville Greenway from behind Schell Brothers and the Hendersonville Library. Registration is $15.00 per dog. $5.00 for additional dogs.
